VSM MedTech BpTRU family of automated, non-invasive vital signs
monitors delivers a combination of accuracy, objectivity, ease-of-use
and affordability never before available in primary and acute
care.
Each of VSM MedTech's highly efficient units uses a patented biphasic algorithm
to enhance measurement accuracy for high systolic pressure readings. Simultaneously,
the system's sophisticated software monitors the instrument and procedures, displaying
an error code if a problem is detected.

The VSM MedTech BpTRU™ Model BPM-100 is an
automated non-invasive blood pressure monitor that
is reliable, accurate and simple to use. The BPM-100
is designed for the physician's office or in a clinical
setting and operates with or without the operator
present. |

At the touch of a single button the BPM-100 automatically performs up
to six measurements, eliminates the first reading, and displays the average
of the last 5 readings. The interval of the readings (start to start)
can be varied from 1 to 5 minutes depending on user preference. Alternatively,
the monitor can take a single point measurement.
The BpTRU blood pressure monitor automatically inflates to 35mmHg above
the systolic and deflates at a controlled rate. A proprietary precision
valve provides smooth linear deflation of the cuff that increases accuracy
and comfort. The BpTRU blood pressure monitor incorporates many safety
features and self-diagnostic programs to protect the patient and eliminates
faulty technique due to improper inflation and deflation of the cuff.
